Planning a destination wedding in Havana is always an exciting challenge
For Victoria and Guillermo, this city is not just a place full of history and charm, but also the setting where they got engaged. Therefore, returning to Havana to celebrate their wedding was the perfect way to pay tribute to the beginning of their story together. From the preparations at the Hotel Manzana Kempinski to the party at La Guarida, every detail was carefully planned to reflect their essence. In this way, they managed to create an unforgettable day that will undoubtedly be remembered by all those present.
Preparations for a destination wedding in Havana: Moments full of complicity
Victoria and Guillermo chose the luxurious Hotel Manzana Kempinski to prepare for their big day. Located in the heart of Havana, this iconic hotel provided the perfect atmosphere to share intimate moments with their closest friends. In a special moment, Victoria experienced an emotional first look with her bridesmaids, filled with complicity and joy. At the same time, Guillermo was toasting with his friends, anticipating the celebration that was about to come.
A look designed to dazzle
After trying on numerous dresses, Victoria finally chose a unique design that combined elements from two creations, specially adapted for her. This dress by Lorenzo Caprile, paired with a vintage-style hat, reflected her sophisticated and modern personality. Moreover, it made her the center of attention during this destination wedding in Havana.
Wedding ceremony full of symbolism at the Palace of Marriages
The Palace of Marriages on Prado, with its majestic Ignacio Cervantes Concert Hall, was the perfect setting for this destination wedding in Havana. This historic place, known for its impeccable acoustics, allowed the live music to stand out as a key element during the ceremony.
Victoria's entrance was one of the most emotional moments of the day,
First, she arrived accompanied by her parents; however, in the final steps, she walked alone towards the altar, symbolizing her personal transition to a new stage of her life alongside Guillermo. The floral arrangement in a semicircle, carefully designed as the altar for the ceremony, added a touch of unity and continuity without competing with the beauty of the space. Victoria wanted each element to complement the grandeur of the place, without overshadowing the surroundings. This detail not only highlighted the symbolism of the ceremony but also enhanced the elegance of the venue.
Classic Car Caravan: A must-have at every destination wedding in Havana.
The classic car caravan was one of the most fun moments of this destination wedding in Havana. Both the couple and their guests arrived at La Guarida in convertibles, giving us spectacular photos. Additionally, the red and fuchsia colors of the cars, which matched the dresses of the bridesmaids, reinforced the harmony and style of the celebration. This parade of cars not only offered a ride but also became an essential part of the experience, highlighting the authentic essence of Cuba. The caravan, as an iconic element in any destination wedding, added a special touch that complemented the vintage style of this event, generating palpable excitement among the attendees.
La Guarida: The vintage charm of this destination wedding in Havana
Although a conga was planned in Prado for the exit from the Palace of Marriages, the rain changed the plans. However, the musicians were moved by us to La Guarida, where, with the same energy and rhythm, they welcomed the couple and the guests. In this way, the change of location did not clash with the original plan, ensuring that the arrival at the iconic restaurant maintained the action and energy of the moment.
The cocktail before dinner was held in the main hall of this iconic restaurant.
Certainly, it was difficult to compete and surprise the guests after the grandeur of the Palace. Keeping this in mind, we specifically designed a high-impact greenery style for the hall. The columns and gates, adorned with vines and white flowers, created a magical and elegant atmosphere. The iconic staircase, decorated with a greenery style inspired by English gardens, stood out as one of the most photographed spots of the wedding and became the most Instagrammable space of the celebration. During dinner, the guests occupied all the halls of La Guarida. The tables were decorated with vintage lanterns, eucalyptus sprigs, and white roses. All of this combined in perfect harmony with the unique style of the place.
Party on the Terrace: Overflowing Joy and Fun
With the rain a distant memory, the party on the terrace of La Guarida was the perfect ending to a day full of emotions. Thus, in this destination wedding in Havana, the live music set the rhythm for an unforgettable night. Additionally, everything was accompanied by cocktails, cigars, and a celebratory atmosphere that infected everyone present. The guests enjoyed dancing, laughter, and spontaneous moments that captured the festive essence of the couple. In fact, every corner of the terrace reflected the joy and energy that both Victoria and Guillermo desired for their wedding. It was a night of pure celebration, filled with photographs that immortalized a particularly fun and spectacularly beautiful day.

In this way, she demonstrated that there isn't always just one way to do things. Her choice reflected her unique style and personality, making this gesture as special as the wedding itself.
