Susana and Julio
wedding at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba
Although they no longer live in Cuba, Susana and Julio returned to get married surrounded by the people who make a day like this meaningful. And the Hotel Nacional had everything they dreamed of for their classic, romantic wedding.

The ceremony: romance among gardens and flowers
The floral design was the heart of the ceremony.
A pastel-toned proposal was created, with roses as the main feature, shaping a romantic, delicate, and luminous setting.
A floral arch framed the space, enhancing the moment without taking the spotlight away from the couple.
Although the wedding style was classic and romantic, some traditions were also reinterpreted.
Susana walked hand in hand with her mother, while Julio entered accompanied by both of his parents.
Because at a wedding there’s no single way to do things: walk in with whoever you want to share that moment with.
The reception: a night of celebration in the 1930 Hall
After the garden ceremony, guests moved to the 1930 Hall at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba.
The air-conditioned hall provided the perfect setting to keep celebrating, especially during Havana’s warmer months.
The decoration followed the same classic and romantic style: tall centerpieces, crystal chandeliers, lit candles, and a soft color palette that added warmth and elegance to the space.
The floral arch, which had framed the ceremony, was moved behind the wedding cake, becoming part of the backdrop for the most important photos of the night.
In addition, a photo booth area was created, and a ceiling covered in fairy lights added that magical atmosphere they were looking for—without losing the elegance of the design.

The weddings we’re part of are never forgotten—and this one is especially meaningful because of the bond we share with Susana, Julio, and their family.

Detail of the bridal bouquet
While the décor played with pastel tones, Susana chose an all-white bouquet. Roses, her favorite flowers, in a classic and romantic design—just like her wedding.

The couple’s entrances are tailored to each story.
She walked in with her mom, and he did so with both parents. Every story is different — and so is the way you enter.
Traditions adapt to what we feel: what matters is sharing that moment with the people we truly love and can have by our side.

The first kiss
Months of preparation led to this moment: “you may now kiss the bride.” All the nerves of the ceremony end here, but there’s still much more to live on this day.

A kiss to remember forever
Few memories are as precious as this one. Susana's grandmother, one of her favorite people, by her side on a day to remember forever.

The Hotel Nacional, a witness to this wedding.
Beautiful photo of Susana and Julio with the Hotel Nacional de Cuba in the background. A place that, besides being a symbol of the island, offered exactly what they were looking for: elevated gardens with sea views for their ceremony and a perfect ballroom for the wedding reception.
