Alba and Renato
Wedding at the Meliá Internacional in Varadero
At the prestigious Meliá Internacional Hotel in Varadero, Alba and Renato, renowned Paraguayan influencers, celebrated a wedding that was as intimate as it was spectacular.
They opted for a destination wedding to enjoy privacy and a vacation surrounded by their closest loved ones, leaving behind the idea of a large wedding in their home country. Thus, they found in the beaches of Varadero a perfect setting, impossible to replicate in their homeland, Paraguay.
For the decoration, they asked us for three things: that it be tropical, colorful, and spectacular. With this starting point and total creative freedom, we designed an event that reflected their style and left everyone present in awe. At the end of the ceremony, Alba said to us with emotion: “This wedding is much more beautiful than my Pinterest board.”

Renato and Alba: a destination wedding at the Meliá Internacional in Varadero
At the Meliá Internacional Hotel in Varadero, Renato and Alba, renowned Paraguayan influencers, celebrated their destination wedding with a tropical design that stood out for its spectacularity.
One of the most common reasons among those who choose a destination wedding is the desire for privacy, and Renato and Alba were no exception. As a widely recognized couple, they decided to travel with their closest loved ones in search of intimacy and to enjoy the unparalleled beauty of the beaches of Varadero, a landscape they would not find in their home country, Paraguay.
Getting Ready: Moments full of complicity.
The preparation of Renato and his family Meanwhile, Renato watched excitedly from his room as everything came together, and along with his family, he also prepared to experience the most important day of his life.
Tropical design for an unforgettable destination wedding at the Meliá Internacional
La ceremonia: un túnel de bambú imponente The first visual impact was a majestic bamboo tunnel four meters high, composed of triangular structures that repeated along the path of the couple. As they progressed, the triangles decreased in size, visually guiding them to the altar where the ceremony took place.
The chairs were also made of bamboo and, carefully arranged on both sides of the tunnel, perfectly complemented the design, adding coherence to the tropical concept and enhancing the natural atmosphere of the ceremony.
Tropical flowers in every corner of the design The floral arrangements were the undisputed stars of the entire wedding, bringing life and color to every space. The floral design, created in collaboration with IslaFlor, our trusted florist, included over 2,000 stems of a wide variety of tropical flowers, such as alpinia, anthurium, and orchids.
The bamboo tunnel, decorated on both sides with large-scale arrangements, ensured that the couple's photos both upon entering and exiting were spectacular from any angle.
The bar: design, fun, and spectacle Without a doubt, the central bar was one of the most spectacular elements of the wedding. Completely built of wood and with an impressive diameter of five meters, this tree-inspired structure did not go unnoticed. Decorated with over fifty hanging wicker lamps, the lighting made the bar reach its full splendor at night.
Its proximity to both the table and the dance floor made it a lively space throughout the night. Alba and Renato, in a spontaneous moment, took the place of the bartenders and started preparing shots for their guests, unleashing laughter and creating a memorable moment that connected everyone at the party.

Design: Pergolas and lighting To maintain the grandeur of the other areas, towering pergolas were placed at each end of the dance floor. These structures perfectly framed the space and, along with the chill-out areas furnished with comfortable wooden sofas, provided a cozy and relaxed spot for guests looking for a moment of rest.
The dance floor: the energy of the DJ As the night progressed, the string lights dimmed, and the dance floor took center stage. The lighting, managed by Adriano DJ, transformed into a visual spectacle that matched the rhythm of the music and kept the guests active until the end. The transition from ambient lighting to a more dynamic design, along with the DJ's contagious energy, ensured that this final part of the celebration was as spectacular as the rest of the event.
The Meliá Internacional Hotel: a privileged location
Located in one of the best beach areas of Varadero, the Meliá Internacional Hotel provided an ideal setting for this destination wedding. With its wide stretch of sand, it allowed for an unrestricted design, where every element could unfold freely. Additionally, its gastronomic offerings exceeded all expectations: each dish, carefully crafted, amazed the guests and elevated the wedding experience.
