The pineapple was chosen by the couple as a tropical symbol for this wedding in Havana.

The pineapple played a central role in the wedding, not only in the decoration but also in the most significant moments. The pineapple-shaped box held the rings, which were brought to the altar by Elena's daughter, who had a very special role in the ceremony. This symbol, present even in the wedding logo, reflected the warm and tropical essence that marked every detail of the day.

Photo session in Old Havana, the style and elegance of this wedding.

The day began with an epic exit from the Iberostar Grand Packard Hotel, where Javier and his group of friends descended with attitude and style down the iconic red carpet.

Then, Javier took the wheel of his two-seater car, cruising through the streets of Havana. Each image from this moment encapsulates the excitement and authenticity of a day that will remain in everyone's memory.

Getting married in the church where their grandparents wed: the true reason for choosing Havana for their wedding.

Elena arrived at the church in a red 1950s Chevrolet Impala convertible, driven by her cousin and best man. In the images, the solemnity of the moment is evident: the car parked at the entrance while her cousin and daughter wait to help her out.

Every detail of this arrival reflects the significance of the moment: the choice of vehicle, the close company, and the symbolism of returning to a place with such history for their family.

San Juan de Letrán in Havana, adorned with greenery for this wedding.

The church of San Juan de Letrán was filled with greenery, featuring a decoration of varied foliage and white flowers. Along the aisle, the pews were adorned with lush arrangements and candles, creating a fresh and elegant atmosphere that connected with the tropical style of the reception.

Between the columns, tall pedestals were placed with arrangements of foliage and white flowers, adding height and enclosing the space of the central nave.

The children entering the church:

As in all weddings, the entrance of the children was a special moment. On this occasion, they carried flowers and funny signs, filling the church with tenderness and smiles.

The exchange of wedding rings

The bride's daughter played a very special role in the ceremony, as she was in charge of carrying the rings. Without a doubt, it was a moment full of emotion and significance for everyone present.

A motorcycle ride through Havana: one of the favorite moments of the wedding.

The newlyweds surprised everyone by leaving the church on a motorcycle with a sidecar, carrying the flags of Cuba and Spain. The leather jacket with the inscription Miss Ungría it was another unexpected touch that added personality to the moment. The scene, spontaneous and full of energy, marked the beginning of the next stage of the celebration at La Divina Pastora.

A reception with Cuban essence

From their arrival, guests were greeted with carefully arranged yarey hats on a rustic piece of furniture, integrating the tropical design of the wedding. These details not only added character to the setting but also provided comfort for enjoying the outdoor celebration.

Later on, a cigar bar completed the sensory experience with a selection of Cuban cigars and premium rums. Surrounded by wooden boxes, fresh pineapples, and tropical flowers, each element reinforced the Cuban identity of the wedding, inviting attendees to enjoy the flavors and traditions of the island.

Design and sophistication at the presidential table of this wedding with Havana in the background

For the presidential table, a swing A-shaped design was introduced, featuring a large floating floral arrangement filled with foliage and tropical flowers at the center of the scene. Warm lights hung from this structure, creating an intimate and sophisticated outdoor atmosphere.

Every detail was designed to maintain coherence with the tropical aesthetic of the wedding, including the use of pineapples as a decorative element, a key symbol in the event's design and even in the wedding logo. Overlooking Havana Bay and surrounded by tables that followed the same lush style, the presidential table became a focal point of the reception.

The couple's entrance to the reception

Amid applause, the couple made their entrance to the reception dancing, while the guests welcomed them standing, waving their napkins to the rhythm of the music. It was an energetic moment that marked the beginning of dinner and a celebration that promised to be unforgettable.

Two dances that opened the party:

The dance floor, personalized with the wedding monogram, became the perfect stage for their first dance as a couple. They started with an emotional ballad that captured everyone’s attention. Then, they surprised everyone by switching to an energetic salsa version of ‘Uptown Funk.’ The excitement grew even more as the guests joined the dance floor, creating a moment filled with rhythm and joy.

Live music, essential at a destination wedding in Havana:

From the ceremony in the church to the grand party, live music set the rhythm for this wedding in Havana. To start, a traditional band accompanied the cocktail; then, a salsa concert livened up the party, and to top it all off, the "hora loca" filled the dance floor with drums, stilt walkers, and pure energy.
